Express Group-T EOOD is a beneficiary under a contract for the provision of grant aid BG16RFPR001-1.001-0493-C01 „Increasing the capacity and competitiveness of the craft enterprise "Express Group-T" EOOD” Programme (CIEP) 2021–2027, Procedure for the selection of project proposals BG16RFPR001-1.004 "Support for family businesses, enterprises in the creative industries, and craft enterprises".
The aim of the project is Increasing the capacity and competitiveness of the craft enterprise "Express Group-T" EOOD, through the purchase of new technological equipment for the activity of sewing services, leading to the improvement of resource and energy efficiency and the introduction of circular production models. The introduction of new technological equipment will enhance production capacity and optimize the processes of manufacturing and refining textiles, fabrics, ready-made garments, and finished goods. This will boost the artisan enterprise's competitiveness and strengthen its market presence by combining creativity, skills, and talent with the implementation of technological innovations and the development of entrepreneurial initiative.
The project involved the purchase of an industrial chemical processing machine, an embroidery machine, a digital direct-to-textile printer, a spreading table, a straight-knife cutter, an ironing table, and an automatic steam mannequin. The implementation of this new technological equipment will lead to more efficient use of raw materials and energy resources, minimize production waste, and extend the lifecycle of finished products—facilitating their reuse as second-hand clothing, as well as their upgrading and repair—through the adoption of new materials and technologies that comply with the "do no significant harm" principle regarding the environment. The new technological equipment complies with the "do no significant harm" principle regarding the environment and introduces a circular model for resource use, production, and consumption. This model minimizes waste generation and extends product lifecycles and durability—while enhancing reusability, repairability, and recyclability—thereby improving production capacity and optimizing the processes of manufacturing and finishing textiles, fabrics, and finished garments and products at the artisan enterprise Express Group-T EOOD.
